Country Spring Playlist

It finally feels like spring! I’m on day three of doing Harvest Joy’s taxes online through Tax Act. It’s taking me a long time to get them done and I feel like I am missing out on all this beautiful weather we are having in San Diego. I assure you that I will not be doing it on my own next year. We don’t usually get this much rain in Southern California. I’ve never seen so many wild flowers, rainbows or butterflies. The famous Superbloom in Lake Elsinore is about an hour away from San Diego and the butterfly migration is happening right now! One of the best tasting melons I’ve ever had and it was in season 🍈 Farmers pick seasonal produce when it is ripe since it does not have to travel long distances. Which means that seasonal produce ends up having more nutrients and being fresh!
Find local farms in your area using the “Find a Farm” map on my website! Each farm lists out what fruits and veggies they grow, making it easy to eat local. These farms have either worked with me or have been verified to be a working farm
